If you are young and you would like to take part in a kayaking trip but you do not have a pair...
this is a perfect offer for you!!!
You will spend the time in a kayak in an active way, try extreme sports, relax in a sauna and in the evening you will have the opportunity to meet new people.

Families with children and formal couples are invited on other terms :)

The schedule for the kayaking can be changed because of the atmospheric conditions and external factors independent of the organizer.

For the contestants travelling by train: we meet at about 1 p.m. in front of the PKP railway station in Suwałki, next to the bus with `Rospuda` logo and we move to starting point of kayaking by the Sumowo lake.

For the contestants travelling by car: you have time until 7 p.m. to come to the `Uroczysko Sumowo` campsite ( we will send you detailed information about the directions after the registration), ( see the map)

Please report your chosen mean of transport to the staff.

• after the arrival till 7 p.m. you have time to introduce yourselves and admire the surroundings
  putting up tents, the first attempts at windsurfing on the Sumowo Lake
• about 7 p.m. the official beginning of kayaking down the rivers and information meeting during which we will try to answer all your questions about the rafting trip awaiting you
• in the evening ( about 8 p.m.) sauna finished with refreshing swimming in the lake
• integrating campfire at the end of the day, on which we hope to get to know  each other better
  any measures to facilitate the integration are desirable.

Information about the camp: lovely campsite at the ` Uroczysko Sumowo` farm, a full bathroom, a shower for an additional charge, Finnish sauna, a shelter with a fireplace, a room for volleyball

Day 2 : Monday
Jez. Długie - Jez. Sumowo (ok. 11 km)

• we wake up in the morning. Be ready till 10 a.m. because then we go upstream. Please do not put the tents down today, because we are spending the night at the same campsite ( so we are lucky).
• after reaching the Garbaś or Długie lake we will allocate the equipment and set sail on the trail
• the first stretch is quite lively, full of obstacles, fallen trees (beavers` work) and protruding rocks.
• Just in front of Bakałarzewo we visit World War II bunkers , which will be presented by an amazing custodian
• on the route the hefting of kayaks is waiting for us near a dam ( so the  gentlemen can show their extraordinary strength and help the ladies)
  
• after reaching the destination you will have time to relax and regenerate before the evening attractions
• about 6 p.m. dinner free of charge at the camp
• later volleyball match for hard-bitters and windsurfing for daredevils
• in the evening finnish sauna as a relax for tired muscles
• campfire to finish the day in a pleasant way.

Information about the camp: lovely campsite at the ` Uroczysko Sumowo` farm, a full bathroom, a shower for an additional charge, Finnish sauna, a shelter with a fireplace, a room for volleyball.

• after packing the luggage about 11 a.m.we leave for the trail
• today picturesque passage is awaiting us on the Okrągłe and the Bolesty lakes till Małe Raczki village
• on the way there will be a break for sunbathing and a brunch plus swimming in the Bolesty lake
• about 4 p.m. we reach Małe Raczki, close to the old mill ( and now hydro- power station), we put up our tents and have dinner*
• for enthusiasts we suggest sightseeing excursions on foot, for thirsty we recommend drinks in the bar next to the` dynamic waterfall`
• collective campfire in the evening

Information about the camp: a campsite, a shower for an additional charge, a snack- bar on site.

• packing and leaving about 11a.m.
• on the way time to relax in Raczki, where you can try hot, delicious pancakes (for a small fee), individual sightseeing of the monumental church, sending postcards and shopping
• about 3 p.m. group visiting of the Pac`s Palace ruins in Dowspuda, then exciting crossing over fallen trees, branches, stones, etc.
• at about 5 p.m. we reach a glade in a lonely forest and put the tents up there
• about 6 p.m. dinner* and later forest volleyball for active and willing
• about 8 p.m. the evening attraction, which is a rejuvenating "forest sauna" with swimming in a rough river
• the day finishes by the campfire party, playing games, singing, telling jokes

Information about the camp: a glade in the Rospuda woods, a shelter, accessible toilet, a field shower, nice sauna.

• until 11 a.m. we have to pack the luggage and tents
• today we kayak to a peninsula gracefully called `Naked Sophie` by the Rospuda lake
• at 11 a.m. we sail for a quiet but strong meandering stretch of the Rospuda river, which was the subject of the intense dispute concerning the construction of Augustów bypass
• we stop at the sacred place Uroczysko Święte Miejsce which is worth feeling the mysterious atmosphere
• after crossing through numerous reeds, calamus and other aquatic plants we reach the place, put up the tents at about 4 p.m. and have dinner*
• in the evening we will have our last campfire - no one knows what may happen.

• awaking unfortunately about 7 a.m. ( if anyone went to sleep)
• till 8 a.m. time to pack your things to the car - sorry but we will not wait!!!
• we start sailing by the lake about 9 a.m. to water ski lift in Augustów
• 10-11 a.m. water skiing (booked earlier), we guarantee unforgettable experience, lot of fun ( swimming at your own risk), if you fail to get out of the threshold, or fall into water you get additional attractive motorboat journey.
• after water skiing we sail further but not so far
• we reach the campsite
• about 3 p.m. we finish the rafting trip, take last photos, exchange the addresses, hugs and goodbyes

!!! We pick up the drivers to the cars left on the car park !!!

If you want you can individually stay till the end of the weekend in Augustów, where you can find many attractions: Augustów clubbing and famous Albatros, a ship or gondola cruise, modern aqua park with an impressive slide, Augustów nights, weekends concerts, cultural events, the possibility of renting any equipment and taking part in water extreme sports.

* Two course dinner for volunteers - delicious, regional dishes for 19 zloty (dinner is delivered to the camping place when ordered in the morning or the previous day).

Rospuda rafting (comfort option) -the price of kayaking includes:

• kayaking down the river from Sunday to Friday
• new, comfortable equipment ( kayaks with profiled seats and soft backs, with compartment for hand luggage, buoyancy vests, paddles)
• windsurfing equipment used during camping ( the first and second day)
• the participants will be transported by bus from Suwałki stop to the departure place
• everyday transportation of luggage and equipment
• World War II bunkers visiting ( availability depends on the presence of the custodian)
• 1 hour water skiing on professional water ski lift by the Necko lake in Augustów
• participation in three saunas on the rafting trail
• delivery of regional, two course dinner directly at the camp, ( the first meal is free, the rest 19 zloty each) if there are minimum 10 people - you can choose your dish each time
• everyday shopping can be done on special request of the participants
• full access to gas kitchen for the participants
• paid camping and campsites fees
• volleyball and other matches, integrating parties suggested by the participants and personnel
• for the time of kayaking you get the kayak with Pascal`s guidebook and a map
• dry bag for personal things ( wallet, mobile phone, etc.) for the time of kayaking
• accident compensation insurance NNW

Not included in the price :


• car park fees for the time of kayaking
• charges for using showers and toilets ( when sleeping on a campsite)
• catering ( except dinner offered during the second day), food for the evening campfires. Delicious pancakes on the trail for volunteers - 9 zloty per portion
• personal camping equipment ( tent, sleeping bag, foam mattress pad). Please take your own tents or report the need of renting them ( before the kayaking starts) , double/triple tent - 50 zloty per rafting trip
• fees for night accommodation in agrotouristic households ( surcharge 250 zloty/per person/rafting trip) in triple/quadruple room or 350 zloty/ per person in a double room
  
  We ask interested people who are registering to fill in the entry form with  chosen accommodation option

Remember to take with you:

A tent, a sleeping bag, a mattress or a foam pad, a swimming suit, lot of sunbathing lotion, sunglasses, something to protect your head from the sun, slippers or shoes to walk in water or mud, warm clothes ( sometimes nights are cold in the early morning), a raincoat ( just in case), gloves without fingers ( to make paddling easier), insects repellents, a torch, a plate, a knife, a fork, a spoon, a mug, a dinner-pail, some cash for at least 6 days ( cash machines in Suwałki and Augustów only)

Accommodation in agrotouristc households:

The participants choose  option 2 or option 3  and at the end of the day they are transferred to the Rospuda Stop accommodation place located nearly to the next day route..

The participants of the kayaking trip can choose between the following room configurations:
option 2 - a night in a triple or quadruple room
option 3 - a night in a double room

You should report chosen option at least 7 days before the beginning of kayaking trip or arrange vacancies by telephone.
